Orks that capture objectives instead of fighting. Heretic Astartes that take orders from a little chaos cultist. Tyranids that open doors... Are you tired of Kill Team games where your factions behavior is completely out of sync with their character?
To try to answer this issue, and to introduce some balancing mechanics, Ben and Tom in this episode talk about some homebrew rules they've been cooking up that incentivize playing factions like they're supposed to be played. These rules also help even up the odds for some groups who don't have a chance in the current meta (yes, even Kroot).

In this episode, the boys do a quick Kill Team battle report/meta review, and talk about the good and the bad of using Roll20 for virtual DnD'ing!
From there, it's a passionate stroll in downtown nerdville as Ben and Tom talk about their top 5 videogames of all time and engage in some very wishful thinking about how GW could give each the 40K treatment (and actually do a good job, unlike certain other recent game entries using Warhammer licenses).
Prepare your salt as we pepper this one with lots of nostalgia, wrestling references, and unrequited desire for good 40K games!

Our attempt to "briefly introduce" FTL travel in the 40K universe to Gabrielle (Ben's patient, non-40K-enthusiast partner) was (predictably) a fail.
Now, in the thrilling conclusion to part 1, we finally manage to land the conversation... but not before a few tangential discussions about Orks and their psychic craziness, why the setting truly is so "Grimdark", and whether or not the Easter Bunny has an avatar in the warp.
